We are experts in designing mobile power systems that range from ruggedized, 2kW man-portable generator sets through 20kW vehicle mounted Auxiliary Power Units (APUs), hydraulically driven DC generators to under-hood mounted APUs with vehicle integrated sub-systems (fuel, cooling). Designs can be fully qualified to military standards, including MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-705, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-1275.
We extensive experience designing, sourcing materials, managing the logistics and installation temporary and permanent power systems for users in locations as varied as the Darfur region in Sudan, Afghanistan and Iraq for the Canadian and US Military and government customers.
Our team has designed numerous stationary power systems, including remote unattended sites located on isolated islands and mountains. Several types of systems have been delivered including prime power diesel or propane and hybrid with photovoltaic or/wind renewable energy. Features on these systems include air transportable shelters, bulk fuel storage and transfer systems, engine waste heat recovery and remote monitoring and control.
We have designed brushless and permanent magnet generators ranging from 2kW to 20kW output. Voltage range can be tailored to customer's requirement, ranging from 12VDC up to 96VDC, including 3ph, 400Hz AC generators. Generators are direct driven, belt driven or hydraulically driven. Voltage regulation is achieved by microprocessor controlled digital voltage regulators, to meet power quality and transient response of particular application. Digital voltage regulators have advanced features such as 3 stage charging curve, programmable battery chemistry, programmable current limit, battery temperature compensation, CAN bus communication and more.
Our design team developed several auxiliary power system for industrial and commercial sector. Working closely with OEM partners, we integrated power generating systems in to their equipment.
